i made this is grade 3: all you need are some old magazines, white liquid glue, a small kid's paint brush and anempty glass bottle (like a snapple bottle or jam/jelly jar)
so what you do is cut out any pictures/ pieces form the magazines of anything you want (i did different shades of the colour blue) and so you cut out a whole bunch of different pieces and then you use the glue and brush to "paint" on the glue to the bottle and then stick on the pieces in any order or style you want, and once the bottle is compltly covered use the brush with the glue to paint an extra layer over the pieces that you glues on. this will make sure the pieces stick and it will make it look shiny (when you first paint it on, it will look all white everywhere but once it dries it will be clear)
you can use these as a pencil holder or any type of holder for different things
its easy to do, doesnt take all that long and you end up with something that you can find a use for

Try origami or paper folding. You can find ideas on the web - start with whatever paper you have at home - and make them into toys, paper boxes, or gift cards.
I especially like iris folding - use scrap ribbon to make really pretty cards.http://www.cardsandcrafts.freeservers.co...
