Does Anyone Have An Idea For Little Red Riding Hood Craft?
I’m doing an afterschool program for 5 and 6 year olds. This week our theme is Little Red Riding Hood. We have a storyteller come in and then we do a craft based on the story. For the life of me I can’t think of a simple but fun/creative craft to do for this story. Any ideas?

have fun!
Hmm… wolf masks perhaps?
Why not try to do a little picnic like in the story.. make something to eat and put it in a picnic basket… make
Use it as an opportunity to talk about stranger awareness perhaps and put a different spin on it..
I found some ideas on line and Don M’s idea with a sock sounds neat too..

Once upon a time..
I use to babysit that age group, and we made finger puppets that we attached to cheap work gloves–one puppet for each finger.
It was fun, but if you don’t have help, and have more than just a few kids…it might be difficult.
Have fun
Make stuff out of FOAM! I love foam! U can use it for anything! It’s great 4 kids too bcuz it’s easy to maitain! Or u can have actors/actresses to have faux large teeth and stuff so they can pretend to be like the characters in the story!
